There are 2 convenient ways to obtain an International Driving Permit:

#1 - Apply In-Store: Visit your local AAA Store.

Appointments are not necessary for in-store processing and you will obtain your permit same day.

If you choose to apply in-store, please do not apply online. Your AAA Store will not be able to access your online application.

#2 - Apply Online: Place your order online and complete the application digitally.

How it works:

- Choose the service and shipping option that best suits your needs, and complete your order.

- After completing your order, you will be directed to create a govWorks account to complete your IDP forms.

- An easy-to-use online wizard will guide you through the application, allowing you to upload passport style approved photos, and submit a copy of the front/back of your driver's license.

- You will then review your application and digital signature.

- Your application will be submitted electronically for processing.  Please allow 3 business days for processing.

- The physical IDP will be mailed to you based on the shipping option that was chosen during check out.
