Founded in 1973 by Lamar Hunt, Worlds of Fun started as Kansas City’s Family Fun Adventure. It quickly grew into a theme park larger than any amusement park in the Midwest! Today it spans more than 325 acres with unique themed areas, a record-breaking waterpark with Oceans of Fun, and the resort for getaways that feel worlds away with the Worlds of Fun Village.
Worlds of Fun offers all kinds of fun for kids of all ages and sizes. From the big thrills of Zambezi Zinger and MAMBA® to the little thrills of Planet Snoopy, Worlds of Fun has the kind of fun you are looking for in a place where the fun never ends!
Open seasonally, Oceans of Fun is included with admission and is the coolest place in Kansas City to slide, splash, chill and dine! Enjoy slides, wading pools, splash pads, a wave pool and many other water attractions in this massive oasis.
